How can I learn flamenco guitar?
1.You do not need to learn the first to learn classical flamenco. In fact, the flamenco school in traditional works differently to the school of classical guitar. Learn classical guitar by reading notes and playing them classical manner. Flamenco Traditional learning directly from the teacher without note and of course with the techniques of flamenco. 2.The best method of learning the flamenco, of course, is finding a good "Flamenco" teacher and learning the basics of flamenco flamenco style. (It is not easy to find a good teacher, however, as many who say I only know of flamenco some Spanish sounding songs in style rumba) 3.It 's true that the right-hand techniques to distinguish flamenco and classical playing style. The right hand is much more active and agile in the flamenco style but that's not all. Compas Flamenco is essential to understand the characteristics and progression of chords and accents each "Palo". 4.The teaching methods "Graf Martinez", "Oscar Herrero" and "John Martin" are some of the well known and general methods used by many students and teachers to learn and teach flamenco. 5. Listen and watch flamenco much as you can! The most Flamenco is difficult to learn to understand the rhythm of flamenco and mood! And you can only listen and make the accompanying flamenco. ==================== Edit: left-T The things I said here really are not just "my" opinions. These are things I've learned through the study of flamenco. And I'm happy to say that I started learning classical guitar at age 8 and then later switched to flamenco. People so I'm quite familiar with both styles. Many think that flamenco is like an advanced level classical guitar. Like to learn flamenco you need to know how to play first classical guitar. In Andalusia, the cradle of flamenco, flamenco guitarists learn from the beginning, without any reference to classical music. Even many best flamenco guitarists can not read the notes. (Paco de Lucia does not know how to read notes until much later in his career) collecting In fact, both classic and flamenco finger use, but is that really all? how to hold the guitar in flamenco is different than in the classic, moreover, not all techniques used in the same way. For example, the tremolo the classic is performed by a pulling movement of the thumb ', followed by 3 notes "I i" But the thumb plays flamenco style with supporting a " "blow, and that the wrist should be bent a little more classic, more than four notes instead of three" IAMI "the use of thumb in flamenco is much more common and the thumb is much more active than in the classic, many melodies and arpeggios in flamenco touch with thumb support where as in the classic thumb is "normally" confined to upper strings and the notes on treble strings are played with the fingers. Strumming technique is "almost" nonexistent in the classical guitar. Andres Segovia, the renowned master of classical guitar is known for trying to remove completely torn from the classical school. Thus, a student Classical Guitar, probably will not come across a passage Rasgueado and not learn until much later. However, a student must learn from flamenco the very principle of almost no song without the use of technical features including, in its simplest forms. Another technique as "Alzapua" is also widely used in Flemish, but almost never in the derby. Moreover, harmonic notes heard only in the classical guitar. These are only the differences in techniques. The differences in the structures of the songs and the rhythm and feeling, is a completely different story. So all in all, when someone learns to play classic and then tries to change to flamenco, you realize you really have to forget many things he had learned before and start learning new techniques! (and I had to go through this himself) and has to learn many things I had not heard before. that things are not very advanced, but are simply the specialties of Flamenco! Sorry, I had to write this long but was necessary because I think we really have not studied flamenco. You sound like a rock guitarist, but not a flamenco guitarist, and many rock guitarists, flamenco is like a rhythmic song that sounds Spanish. The fact that you mention "Plate hands" as an example for better "Flamenco" player says it all. It is indeed a great guitarist. but not the best example of a "Flamenco" guitarist. Another example is Paul Gilbert Flamingo. He says that flamenco is not so called Flamingo! but too many people assume thats really what is flamenco?
